Aston Martin DB11 and Vantage ECU Tune — Unlocking the AMG V8

Aston Martin makes some of the most emotionally compelling cars in the world. The DB11 and Vantage carry AMG-sourced twin-turbocharged V8 engines that are among the best tuning platforms available. House of Power develops calibrations for the complete modern Aston Martin lineup.

Why the AMG V8 in Aston Martin Responds So Well

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 in the DB11, Vantage, and DBX is derived from AMG's M177 engine — the same unit found in the C63 S, E63 S, and GT Black Series. At House of Power, we tune the M177 extensively across the Mercedes-AMG lineup. We know this engine deeply, and that knowledge directly benefits Aston Martin owners.

DB11 V8 (2016+)

503hp from the factory in the V8 variant. Our Stage 1 calibration targets the conservative boost mapping and fuel delivery to deliver +60-75whp and +65-85wtq. The DB11 V8 already sounds extraordinary — tuned, the power delivery becomes relentlessly linear.

Vantage V8 (2018+)

The most driver-focused Aston Martin available. 503hp in stock form. Stage 1 gains: +60-75whp. The Vantage chassis is capable of significantly more than the factory calibration allows — our tune closes that gap considerably.

DBX and DBX707 (2020+)

The Aston Martin SUV. The standard DBX carries a 542hp V8; the DBX707 pushes 707hp. Both respond well to calibration. The DBX707 in particular has significant headroom above the factory numbers given its positioning as the most powerful luxury SUV available.

DBS Superleggera (2018+) — V12 Biturbo

715hp from the 5.2L twin-turbo V12. Our calibration refines power delivery and sharpens throttle response — preserving the V12 character while releasing more of its capability.
